Found - in Germany

There is a first and completely new find for the new website - and it puzzles us because there are now two identical surnames in the archive, but connections cannot (immediately) be recognized. The location of Stuttgart also gives cause for consideration.

But here are the pieces of the puzzle for those interested.

The postcard from 1887 shows Stuttgart as the company headquarters.

Birkholz has the first name Heinrich Hugo according to my other archive documents.
I don't have a first name for Pehlemann (from this company).

Very interesting, while Hugo Heinrich Birkholz wanted to find out more about Peter Friedrich Pehlemann (* 1770) and his ancestors, according to my documents. Enigmatic?
Who is this Pehlemann from Stuttgart?
It is also not known whether he lived and worked in Stuttgart or whether he only had a financial stake in the above company.

Around 1887 and 1930, the 600 km distance between Stuttgart and Schmachtenhagen meant a complex journey - on this circumstance see below:

In 1930, Herbert Hans Karl Pehlemann married Martha Birkholz in Schmachtenhagen near Oranienburg, which was born there in 1908, . BUT...

But Peter Friedrich Pehlemann, already mentioned above, is the great-great-grandfather of Herbert H.K. Pehlemann. Both belong to the Zernickow main line!

Compare my archive data about Herbert H.K. Pehlemann below

In Stuttgart there was a building director, Walter Justus Ferdinand Pehlemann, who was born in Swinoujscie and died in Württemberg in 1942. However, he belonged to the younger Ortwig line and, apart from two daughters, had no relatives in Stuttgart. So probably no relation to the “Stuttgart” Pehlemann above.
